Balance sheet is the financial statement of a company and you can view and analyze your company easily, so lets learn in this post that how to view balance sheet in tally prime
Open Tally Prime
Open tally prime and launch the company
Gateway of Tally
In gateway of tally screen under reports you will see the balance sheet and profit & loss account
The short cut to open balance sheet from gateway of tally is B – Balance sheet
View the Balance Sheet
Now after pressing B or selecting a balance sheet under reports you will be at balance sheet screen
Assets and Liabilities
Balance sheet is divided in 2 columns assets and liabilities
Balances can be seen here as per your companies’ data and transaction done
Detailed View of balance sheet
You can view the more detailed view of balance sheet by pressing Alt + F1
From balance sheet screen press Alt + F1 and you will see a detailed view of all assets and liabilities in balance sheet
Configuration Role in Balance sheet
Balance sheet can be viewed in detailed format by pressing F 12 for configuration
And then options will be visible like show percentage and format of reports and also you can apply filters

View Vertical Balance Sheet
By default, balance sheet is in horizontal format but you can also view a balance sheet in vertical format
The option will come when you will press F12 as per below image
Important Tips : Always view and analyze your balance sheet regularly, this is a sign of good accountant A company owner also should check regularly the balance sheet and also the profit and loss account
If a mistake is done in any groups or in tally prime then it can be altered and rectified
